- Rigid Anti-Collapse Design: The pannier’s bottom, sides, front, and back are reinforced with industrial-grade PP boards, maintaining a three-dimensional structure. Even when not fully loaded, the pannier keeps its shape and won’t collapse, ensuring it stays sturdy and reliable throughout your journey.
- Premium Materials: Westwind’s custom-developed, thickened composite mesh fabric, based on 840D polyester, far outperforms typical TPU and PVC materials. This fabric excels in waterproofing, abrasion resistance, and weather resistance, offering superior performance for riders in all conditions.
- Fully Waterproof: With an IPX6 waterproof rating, the pannier’s fabric is fully resistant to water penetration. This ensures that your gear stays dry in heavy rain, keeping your equipment safe no matter how challenging the weather gets.
- Highly Expandable: The panniers feature RW3 expansion side bags on both sides, offering additional storage capacity when needed. "Harness Mounting System": Westwind’s patented "Harness" system securely connects the pannier to the backplate, allowing you to quickly install and remove the pannier without needing to detach the backplate. This system maximizes convenience and flexibility, ensuring the pannier stayssecure even in rough terrain. The surface of the harness is covered in durable Hypalon rubber, providing additional protection for your pannier—even in the event of a fall. I have been keeping an eye on the side bags of Westwind Moto, but I didn't have a suitable opportunity to purchase them. This time, I bought a rally bike and it's just right to match with them. I have never been a big fan of side cases mainly because they are too heavy. But I think side bags and side cases each have their pros and cons, it all depends on personal preference. After receiving them, I felt that the materials, workmanship and details were all in place. Although they are a bit expensive, the quality, materials and workmanship are worth the price. They also came with many gifts that I really liked. The customer service was very patient in answering my questions. This shopping experience was very good. I also wish Westwind's products to get better and better and the company to thrive actively.
To put it bluntly,the quality of the westwind do not need to say much. The board is new quickly dismantled in place. The customer service is good.
