The Heavy Cavalry 33/40 is a professional touring pannier set designed specifically for adventure motorcycles. Featuring an ultra-large capacity, exceptional durability, a bold and sturdy design, and a patented stepped shape that accommodates various exhaust configurations, it is built to perform.

Inspired by the rugged and bold aesthetic favored by heavy motorcycle enthusiasts and the functionality of aluminum luggage, the Heavy Cavalry panniers blend these elements seamlessly. They also incorporate Westwind's unique mounting harness system, significantly enhancing their expandability.

FEATURES

Rigid Anti-Collapse Design: The pannier’s bottom, sides, front, and back are reinforced with industrial-grade PP boards, maintaining a three-dimensional structure. Even when not fully loaded, the pannier keeps its shape and won’t collapse, ensuring it stays sturdy and reliable throughout your journey.
Premium Materials: Westwind’s custom-developed, thickened composite mesh fabric, based on 840D polyester, far outperforms typical TPU and PVC materials. This fabric excels in waterproofing, abrasion resistance, and weather resistance, offering superior performance for riders in all conditions.

Fully Waterproof: With an IPX6 waterproof rating, the pannier’s fabric is fully resistant to water penetration. This ensures that your gear stays dry in heavy rain, keeping your equipment safe no matter how challenging the weather gets.

Highly Expandable: Each pannier supports the mounting of up to two RW6 bags on either side, offering additional storage capacity when needed. Our harness mounting system: Westwind’s patented harness system securely connects the pannier to the backplate, allowing you to quickly install and remove the pannier without needing to detach the backplate. This system maximizes convenience and flexibility, ensuring the pannier stays secure even in rough terrain. The surface of the harness is covered in durable Hypalon rubber, providing additional protection for your pannier—even in the event of a fall. The pannier also includes hidden shoulder straps for easy carrying when off the bike.

Quick-Release Mechanism: When it’s time to hit the road or pack up, the Heavy Cavalry panniers feature a quick-release system with integrated clips. Simply open the clips, and the entire pannier system can be quickly installed or removed, making setup and teardown a breeze.

Side Rack Compatibility: The Heavy Cavalry pannier system is designed to fit most tubular side racks, including the new BMW R1300GS. With versions available for both standard and offset configurations(high-exhaust setups), the panniers offer flexibility for a variety of motorcycles. Ultimate Protection: In addition to the robust protection provided by the patented harness system, the bottom of the pannier is equipped with rubber corner protectors to guard against impacts and abrasion, ensuring your gear is safe even in the harshest conditions.
